Sorry about the absence.

Unfortunately, I've grown so despondent over the state of the 2004 presidential race that I find it hard to bring myself to read about current events, say nothing of write about them. George Bush may yet win this election. How? That is beyond me. The country seems to be nearly half composed of people who are fixated, like a snake watching the charmer, and unable to see past the spin to the rotten core of this administration.

I'll look for more inspiration shortly. In the meantime, I'll be working on a more basic template.
