Murder in the News... or almost

As Atrios notes, "I hope our new 'minutemen' and the appropriate local law enforcement agents - understand that illegal aliens are still people, and laws regarding the prohibition of murder still apply."
On related near-murder news, it seems that somebody was planning on overturning the 2004 Ohio election results in a non-approved fashion.
A Virginian who had been detained in Saudi Arabia as a suspected terrorist was charged Tuesday with conspiring to assassinate President Bush and with supporting the al-Qaida terrorist network. Now this guy is allegedly a member of the al-Qaida terrorists, recruited while he was studying in the Middle East a few years ago. This makes him a murderous terrorist bastard, so it's kind of hard to have any sympathy for them.
Then again, he's clearly a librul, right?
(Don't bother writing if you didn't figure out that was sarcasm. I don't advocate killing Bush. Impeachment, public humiliation, deportation for a war crimes trial, sure... but not murder.)
